Horton Township is proud to be home to many boutique businesses built by the families of hard-working entrepreneurs. Ceriani Fuel has provided heating oil and diesel products throughout the region for two generations. Hepler’s Country Store bills itself as Elk County’s Best Kept Secret. Just up the road, Delullo’s Backwoods Taxidermy creates renowned, lifelike game mounts. Husband and wife Tom and Dawna Ceriani are award-winning chainsaw carvers in the center of Horton Township. JIT Tool and Die is one of the community’s largest employers. Several farms produce beef and corn. And for three generations, the BP Inn, at the southern end of Route 219, has been drawing people from far and wide with its famous hot dogs, pizza, and wings.

T & D Carvings

One of the few husband and wife chainsaw carving teams in the country, Tom and Dawna Ceriani, carvers for 21 years, showcase a menagerie of characters and creatures at the shop they call T and D Carvings. Creating masterpieces with their chainsaws since 2000, the couple has drawn customers from states as far away as Maine and California and from countries around the globe, including Honduras, London, Italy, South Africa, Japan, China, and Zimbabwe.

Hepler’s Country Store

Established in 2002 by Angel Hepler, Hepler’s Country Store specializes in boots, clothing, dry goods, and bulk foods. But fans say their best product is the personalized customer service they provide.
